Pastor's Wife One Of Three Killed In Pennsylvania Crash

Ephrata, Pa. — Mrs. Walter R. Newswanger, 50, whose husband is minister of the Rush Mennonite Church, was one of three persons fatally injured in a two-car crash near Lebanon, Pa. on March 10.

Rev. Newswanger was seriously injured in the head-on collision but is recovering. Two Myerstown young people in the other car were killed.

Mrs. Newswanger was the former Edith Weaver. Besides her husband she leaves a married daughter and three sons of the home; her father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Weaver of Blue Ball; four brothers and four sisters.

The funeral was conducted Sunday, March 15, at the Myerstown Mennonite Church.
