PETER NEUFELD SR.

Peter Neufeld, born 1891 in Russia passed away on Sept. 29, 1964 at the age of 73, in the Dawson Creek Hospital, Dawson Creek, B.C. In 1925, as a young man with his family he emigrated from Russia to Kitchener, Ont. In the following year he moved west with his family, settling at Grassy Lake, Alta. Here they farmed till 1960 when they moved to Dawson Creek, B.C., where they had remained since.

He is survived by his wife Anna and seven children; Peter and Jake at Fort St. John, B.C.; Katie, Mrs. C. Hendricks, Taber, Alta.; Anne, Mrs. A. Krueger, Fort St. John; Henry at Dawson Creek; and John and Dave in Edmonton. He also left behind 23 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother Henry in Lethbridge; and two sisters, Marie, Mrs. David Penner Sr. of Grassy Lake, Alta., and Anna, Mrs. John Willms of Lethbridge.
