MARGARETHA NEUFELD

(Mrs.) Margaretha Neufeld of Clearbook, B.C. passed away July 14 in the Menno Hospital, Abbotsford.

She was born on October 9, 1890 to Wilhelm and Susanna Friesen at Wiesenfeld, South Russia. On April 14, 1913 she was married to John F. Neufeld. They emigrated to Herbert, Saskatchewan in 1924 and moved to British Columbia in 1942. She was predeceased by her husband in 1968; two children in infancy, Olga and Margaret; one brother, Henry Friesen; and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Wiens and Mrs. Susan Froese.

Funeral services were held July 18 in the Clearbrook Church with Rev. H. Lenzmann and Rev. H. B. Friesen officiating. Left to mourn her passing are four sons, Frank, John and William, all of Clearbrook, and Jake of Quesnel, B.C.; two daughters, Adiena of Clearbrook, and Mrs. Susan Peters of Penticton, B.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Agatha Dueck of Winnipeg and Mrs. Katharina Kleebaum of Toronto; and 22 grandchildren.
