Berne, Ind. — Funeral services for Rev. Elmer T. Neuenschwander, 31, dean of the Fort Wayne Bible College who was killed by a bolt of lightning, were held Aug, 21 at the First Missionary church of Fort Wayne.

The young educator, his brother and a brother-in-law were struck by the bolt after they took refuge under a tree on a Fort Wayne golf course. The other two suffered burns but are recovering.

He is survived by his wife and two children, and the parents, Rev. and Mrs. Elmer T. Neuenschwander of Berne. A brother, Rev. Gordon Neuenschwander, is pastor of the Mennonite church at Fredonia, Kans.

DEAN OF FORT WAYNE BIBLE COLLEGE KILLED BY BOLT OF LIGHTNING

Berne, Ind. — Funeral services for Rev. Elmer T. Neuenschwander, 31, dean of the Fort Wayne Bible College who was killed by a bolt of lightning, were held Aug, 21 at the First Missionary church of Fort Wayne.

The young educator, his brother and a brother-in-law were struck by the bolt after they took refuge under a tree on a Fort Wayne golf course. The other two suffered burns but are recovering.

He is survived by his wife and two children, and the parents, Rev. and Mrs. Elmer T. Neuenschwander of Berne. A brother, Rev. Gordon Neuenschwander, is pastor of the Mennonite church at Fredonia, Kans.
