Three Ohioans Killed In Car Crash; Another Dies in Fall from Silo

Archbold, Ohio. — Three residents of this northwestern Ohio area lost their lives in an auto crash July 5, and another was killed July 3 in a silo construction accident.

Killed in a two-car collision at a county road intersction near Pulaski, Ohio were Mr. and Mrs. Glen Seiler and their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Larry Seiler, all of Wauseon.

Injured were Larry Seiler, driver of the car occupied by the Seiler family, and his younger brother, Eugene. Also suffering injuries was Lucy Clark of Montpelier, Ohio, driver of the second car.

Double funeral services were conducted for Mr. and Mrs. Glen Seiler on July 9 at the Evangelical Mennonite Church, and for Mrs. Larry Seiler at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Stanley G. Nafziger, 19, was killed and his brother Gilbert, 22, was seriously injured when the scaffolding broke while they were working on a new silo near Brooklyn, Mich. Their parents are Mr. and Mrs. Ervin J. Nafziger of rural Wauseon.

When the scaffolding gave way the young men fell 60 feet. Stanley was killed outright, and Gilbert was taken to a Jackson, Mich. hospital, suffering from back and pelvis injuries, a broken arm and ankle. They were employed by the Wauseon Silo Co.
