Amish Bishop Dies After Surgery

Hazeltown, Iowa. — Friends and relatives from a number of midwestern states attended funeral services here on Easter Monday for Emanuel Mullett, a bishop of th Old Order Amish church.

Bishop Mullett's death followed an operation on his brain, the third such operation which he had undergone. He was 53.

Twelve bishops from various states were among those attending the funeral, conducted in the two residences at the Mullett farm.
