ELMER MOSER
Elmer Moser, son of Edward and Della Wedel Moser, was born March 17, 1924, at Aberdeen, Idaho. He passed away in Salt Lake City at the age of 36 years. He received his training in the Aberdeen schools, graduating from high school in 1942.
He accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, was baptized and joined the Mennonite church, of which he has been a faithful member. At the time of his death he was chairman of the board of trustees of the congregation. To the time of his illness he and his wife served as sponsors of the junior Hi-Y activities.
After serving in the army during 1945 and 1946 he began farming southeast of Aberdeen, an occupation in which he continued until his final illness. In June of 1947 he was married to Eleanor [sic Elinore] Isaak. He was active in furthering the work of child evangelism, especially in southeastern Idaho. He served his community as a supervisor of the South Bingham County soil conservation district.
Survivors include his widow and three daughters, Shareen, Annette, and Linda, and his parents, all of Aberdeen; two brothers, Randolph of San Gabriel, Calif., and Earl of Aberdeen; and a sister, Adel, Mrs. Jack Rozell of Pasadena, Calif.
He will be remembered for his quiet sincerity, his devotion to his Lord and his family.
