SALLIE C. MININGER

Sallie C. (Schlosser) Mininger, 84, of 2149 E. Vine St., Hatfield, Pa., wife of Henry G. Mininger, died Dec. 17, 1968 in Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, Pa., following a lengthy illness.

She was a hospital patient during January 1968, having fallen and broken her right hip. Five years ago she fell and broke her left hip. She recovered nicely from that. The second one caused her more difficulty. On Nov. 3, 1968 she suffered a stroke which paralyzed her left side.

She was born in Toamencin [sic Towamencin] Twp., daughter of Valentine and Eliza Cassel Schlosser.

Mrs. Mininger was a resident of Hatfield for the past 60 years. She and her husband celebrated their 60th anniversary in October 1968.

She was a faithful member of the Towamencin Mennonite Church, Kulpsville, Pa. She was instrumental in starting what was then a sewing circle, now the WMSA. She was president of the organization for 12 years. She also was a Sunday school teacher for many years.

In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Gertrude, wife of Warren Ziegler of Hatfield, and Margaret, wife of Dr. Samuel Bucher of Harman, W. Va.; a son Joseph H., also of Harman, W. Va.; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Clara Landis, a guest at the Eastern Mennonite Home, Souderton, Pa.

Funeral services were held Dec. 21, 1968 at 2 p.m. at the Towamencin Mennonite Church, with interment in the adjoining cemetery.
