Shipshewana, Ind. — Two retired farmers of this area, both octogenarians, were called away in death within a few days’ time. Funeral services for John D. Miller, 83, were held at the Forks Mennonite church Nov. 24. He died at a Ft. Wayne nursing home.

Funeral services were held Nov. 28 at the Emma Mennonite church for Uriah Y. Miller, 80, a lifelong resident of Lagrange county. He died Nov. 25 at the home of a son, Rev. Homer Miller, near here.

TWO AGED RESIDENTS CALLED BY DEATH

Shipshewana, Ind. — Two retired farmers of this area, both octogenarians, were called away in death within a few days’ time. Funeral services for John D. Miller, 83, were held at the Forks Mennonite church Nov. 24. He died at a Ft. Wayne nursing home.

Funeral services were held Nov. 28 at the Emma Mennonite church for Uriah Y. Miller, 80, a lifelong resident of Lagrange county. He died Nov. 25 at the home of a son, Rev. Homer Miller, near here.
