Native of Kansas Dies at Wellman, Ia.

Wellman, Iowa. — Roy Miller, 77, a native of McPherson County, Kansas, and more recently of Wellman, died Dec. 9 at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City.

Services were conducted Dec. 11 at the Wellman Mennonite Church, after which the body was taken to Windom, Kan. for final services at the West Liberty Mennonite Church.

A member of a pioneer central Kansas family, Mr. Miller attended the Hesston Academy (Kansas). He taught school and later was a rural mail carrier.

Surviving are his second wife, the former Anna Mae (Litwiller) Stutzman, two sons, three daughters and two step-daughters and their families. A son, Rev. Waldo Miller, is a pastor at Bellville, Pa.
