The accident also claimed the life of 16-year-old Gail Clay. her brother, Raymond, driver of one of the cars, was seriously injured.

Injuries Prove Fatal to Iowa Businessman

Kalona, Iowa. — Injuries suffered in a three-car collision near here on Highway 1 proved fatal a week later to Paris L. Miller, 59, operator of the Kalona Community Auction.

He died Sept. 23 at University Hospitals, Iowa City. The largely attended funeral was held Sept. 27 at the Fairview Conservative Mennonite Church near here. Surviving are his widow, nine children and 22 grandchildren.

The accident also claimed the life of 16-year-old Gail Clay. her brother, Raymond, driver of one of the cars, was seriously injured.
