Indiana Boy Dies Of Brain Injury Caused by Pitchfork

Goshen, Ind. — An unusual farm accident claimed the life of Olen J. Miller, seven-year-old son of Ora W. and Mary Alice Miller of rural Lagrange.

It was reported that the boy fell on a pitchfork, one of the tines puncturing his face near the eye and penetrating to the brain. He was taken to a Fort Wayne hospital where he died four days later, on July 31, without regaining consciousness.
