MRS. LYDIA MILLER

Mrs. Lydia Miller, daughter of Jonathan and Sarah Kenagy, was born Dec. 28, 1869, at East Lynn, Mo.; died Feb. 28, 1967, aged 97 years, two months.

On Dec. 22, 1895 she was married to Gideon J. Miller, who preceded her in 1935. She was also preceded by an infant son in 1902.

Surviving are three daughters and two sons, Gladys, Mrs. Walter Rutt of Gulfport, Miss., Nona, Mrs. Amsa Kauffman of Goshen, Ind., John G. of Shipshewana, Ind., at whose home she lived, and Perry of Macon, Miss.; 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

She was always much interested in the work of the church and service for the Lord. She taught the primary class in Sunday school for 23 years.

Funeral services were held at the Forks Mennonite Church near Shipshewana on March 3, conducted by Rev. Early Bontrager and Rev. Sylvester Haarer. Interment was in the Miller Cemetery.
