Fatal Accident In Oregon

Aurora, Ore. — Martin Miller is convalescing at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Iva Litke, Portland, from injuries received in a highway accident several weeks ago. The accident resulted in the death of his wife, Fannie.

The couple was en route from Lebanon to Hubbard when their car was struck head-on by another motorist, and then a truck hit them from the rear. Mrs. Miller who was 75, died several hours later at Memorial hospital, Salem, without regaining consciousness.

Funeral services were held at the Canby Funeral home, and burial was made in the Zion Mennonite church cemetery.

The Millers came here from Campo, Colo. to visit their children living in this area. Eleven children survive.
