Well Known Farmer, Watch Maker Dies

Shipshewana, Ind. — Funeral services were held at an Amish settlement near here for Andrew A. E. Miller, 78, who was widely known as a retired farmer and clock and watch repairman. He died at his home Dec. 24 after a five-year illness.

Mr. Miller was a native of Elkhart County, Ind. and had moved to the Shipshewana community in 1918 after a period of residence at Midland, Mich.

The large family of survivors includes his widow, the former Susie Eash, two sons, two daughters, 28 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.
