Indiana Youth Called Away in Death
Goshen, Ind. — Funeral services for Richard D. Miller, 22, who died unexpectedly at his home near here Nov. 15, were conducted Thursday afternoon at the Pleasant View Mennonite Church. Rev. John Steiner and Rev. Ray Keim were in charge.
The young man was convalescing at home after undergoing surgery three weeks earlier, and death was reported due to suffocation during an epileptic seizure. His father Truman D. Miller found his lifeless body several hours after the fatal attack.
He was a 1961 graduate of Jefferson High School near here and was employed by a rubber manufacturing firm. Surviving in addition to the parents are two sisters and one brother, and a grandmother, Mrs. Lucy Wenger.
