PAUL N. MILLER

Paul N. Miller, 87, of Sarasota, Fla., died Nov. 10, 2000, at Kensington Manor Nursing Home in Sarasota. He was born Feb. 8, 1913, near Springs, Pa., and moved to Harrisonburg, Va., in 1938, where he worked in the poultry business. He and his family moved to Illinois in 1956. He was employed by Caterpillar Tractor Co., Peoria, III., and served as pastor of several Mennonite congregations in central Illinois. After retirement, he and his wife moved to Sarasota, Fla., in 1985. He was a member of Bay Shore Mennonite Church, Sarasota.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Grace Metzler Miller; two sons, Carl E. and his wife Nancy of Marathon, Fla., and L. Edwin and his wife Joann of Morton, Ill.; a daughter, M. Helen Lampman and her husband William of Centreville, Md.; two grandchildren; two brothers, Ralph and Alton, both of the Springs area; and two sisters, Grace Hershberger and Viola Miller, both of the Springs area. Services were held at Bay Shore Mennonite Church, Sarasota. Burial was at Palms Memorial Park, Sarasota.
