LENA (EGLI) MILLER
Lena (Egli) Miller, daughter of Joseph and Barbara (Sutter) Egli, was born Jan. 4, 1880 at Hopedale, Ill., died Jan. 18, 1963, at the age of 83 years and 14 days.
At the age of 14 she was baptized and received into the fellowship of the Mennonite Church. On June 7, 1960 she was married to Dan. H. Miller of Minier, Ill. In 1904 they moved to Lagrange County, Ind. In 1911 they moved to northwestern Iowa, and in 1937 to Crawford County, Pa. where they resided until her death.
She is survived by her husband; seven daughters, Maude, Mrs. George Shetler of Sarasota, Fla., Kate, Mrs. Albert Birky of Conneautville, Pa., Mrs. Goldie Oyer of Flanagan, Ill., Silda, Mrs. Harvey Birkey of Conneaut Lake, Pa., Myrtle, Mrs. Willis Myers of Conneaut Lake, Pa., Alice, Mrs. John Oswald of Hartstown, Pa., and Pearl, Mrs. Delmar Oswald of Oil City, Pa.; four sons, Joe and Orval of Conneaut Lake, Pa., Jess of Saegertown, Pa., and Sanford of Cumberland, Md.; one sister, Mrs. Emma Fleener, Lowell, Ind.; one half-sister, Mrs. Lovina Grieser, Hartstown, Pa., 45 grandchildren, and 58 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Jan. 21 at the Sunnyside Mennonite Church, Conneaut Lake, Pa., in charge of Harvey Schrock. Burial was made in the adjoining cemetery.
