JOHN P. MILLER
John P. Miller, son of Peter J. and Malinda (Miller) Miller, was born at Sugarcreek, Ohio on Oct. 9, 1900; died Oct. 31, 1968 at Elkhart General Hospital, Elkhart, Ind., aged 68 years and 20 days.
On June 26, 1924 he was married to Elizabeth Hostetler, who died in 1951. They had four sons: Jay Wilbur, deceased, Rev. Vern Miller of Cleveland, Ohio, Vernon Miller of Streetsboro, Ohio, and Duane Miller of Nashville, Tenn.
On Dec. 21, 1952 he was married to Nettie Blick (sic Glick). She survives him with the three sons; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, Malvin P. of Goshen, Ind. and Daniel P. of Millersburg, Ohio; two sisters, Sarah (Mrs. A. W. Gerber) of Sugarcreek, Ohio and Ida (Mrs. Ray Mast) of Berlin, Ohio.
He was a member of the Goshen College congregation.
Memorial services were held at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home in Goshen on Nov. 2 and at the Plainview Mennonite Church, Aurora, Ohio on Nov. 3. Those officiating were Bob Detweiler at Goshen and Elmer Stoltzfus, Eugene Yoder, and Willis Brechbill at Aurora. Interment was made at the church cemetery.

JOHN P. MILLER
John P. Miller was born at Sugar Creek [sic Sugarcreek], Ohio on Oct. 9, 1900, to Peter J. and Malinda Miller. In his youth he accepted Christ and received baptism at the Walnut Creek Mennonite Church. He remained a faithful member of the Mennonite Church throughout his life and at the time of his death belonged to the College Mennonite Church, Goshen, Ind.
He was married to Elizabeth Hostetler on June 26, 1924. She preceded him in death in 1951. A son, Jay Wilbur Miller, three sisters and two brothers are also deceased. They were Mrs. Venus Hershberger, Mrs. Walter Mast, Mrs. James E. Mishler, and Clarence and Kermit Miller.
On Dec. 21, 1952, he was married to Nettie Glick. She survives his home-going along with three sons, Rev. Vern Miller of Cleveland, Ohio; Vernon of Streetsboro, Ohio; and Duane of Nashville, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; two brothers, Malvin P. of Goshen, Ind. and Daniel P. of Millersburg, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. A. W. (Sarah) Gerber of Sugar Creek, Ohio and Mrs. Ray (Ida) Mast of Berlin, Ohio.
Brother John went to be with the Lord on Oct. 31, from Elkhart Hospital, Elkhart, Ind., aged 68 years and 22 days. A retired farmer and nurseryman, he had resided at 1002 College Avenue, Goshen, since 1964.
Services were held at the Yoder-Culp Funeral Home in Goshen on Nov. 2, 1968 in charge of J. Robert Detweiler and at the Plainview Mennonite Church of Aurora, Ohio on Nov. 3, in charge of Willis Breckbill. Burial was in the Plainview Cemetery, Aurora, Ohio.
