Tragedy Strikes Two Eastern Ohio Families
Sugarcreek, Ohio. — An eight-year-old boy and a girl, age 3, died last week in separate accidents.
Daniel Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Miller of rural Sugarcreek, was killed by a car at his home. The boy released the brake and the vehicle traveled backwards, fracturing his skull. Besides his parents, he is survived by four sisters and three brothers, all of the home.
Funeral services were held July 3 at the Miller residence with Bishop Dan N. Stutzman officiating.
Janelle Sue Yoder, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Carl H. Yoder of rural Millersburg, drowned in a pool near the back of her home on July 1. Survivors include two sisters and a brother.
Rev. Paul Hummel officiated at the funeral services which were held on July 3 at the Berlin Mennonite Church.
