— Funeral services for William H. Mierau, 69, were held Saturday afternoon at the First Mennonite church of Halstead, Rev. Roland Goering officiating. A retired carpenter, Mr. Mierau lived at Halstead for many years but had spent the past five years in Wichita. He died at a Wichita hospital March 24. He leaves his wife, the former Amelia Baehr; a son, William C., of Wichita; a daughter, Mrs. Edith Hadle of Manhattan; and three grandchildren.
