Bluffton, Ohio. — Rev. Levi Mellinger, 84, retired minister of the Evangelical Mennonite Church and former resident here, died Sept. 12 at Meadows, Ill. He had been a guest at the Meadows Mennonite Home.
The body was returned here, and Rev. Dan Dalke officiated at the funeral service, which was in charge of the Diller Funeral Home. Burial was made in the Evangelical Mennonite Church cemetery.
A native of Book Creek, Ind., Rev. Mellinger was a carpenter in addition to his pastorate work. Surviving are his second wife, the former Alma Bixel, and a step-son, Robert Bixel.
