HOLD LAST SERVICES FOR WELL-KNOWN ILLINOIS BISHOP

Arthur, Ill. — Funeral services here for the widely known Bishop Andrew J. Mast of the Old Order Amish church were attended by a large congregation, including many friends and fellow ministers and bishops from other states.

Bishop Mast passed away on Thursday, March 17, following an operation. He was 75 years of age. Surviving him are his wife, three sons, two daughters, and three brothers.

Services Sunday afternoon at the Mast home were conducted by Bishops Mose Yoder and Ira Nisley, of Iowa, and at the Herbert E. Miller home, by Bishops William Bontrager of Indiana and Edwin Hershberger of Iowa.
