Three Young Men Die In Two Accidents

Smoketown, Pa. — Three young men, two of them former residents of Lancaster County, were killed in recent accidents, it has been learned here.

Fatally injured Feb. 20 in the collision of two autos on an icy highway near Red Lion in York County were James LeRoy Martin, 17, and Jeffrey Myers, 16. Both were high school students and were returning home from their work in a store.

Young Martin is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Martin of Red Lion, two sisters, and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Thomas of Willow Street and Mrs. Enos Martin of Lancaster. Funeral services were held at the York Mennonite Church, where he was a member.

Kenneth Lee Sensenig, 23, of Oxford, Pa. was electrocuted on Feb. 24 while working near Meyersdale in Somerset County. He was raising the body of a dump truck when he suddenly realized it would hit a power line. He grabbed the control handle but it was too late and he died instantly.

Surviving are his wife, the former Grace Witmer; his parents, Jacob and Martha Sensenig of Gettysburg, Pa.; and 12 brothers and sisters, including Ruth Ann Sensenig, a missionary in Ethiopia. He was a member of the Mumasburg Churh near Gettysburg.
