Rhoda M. Martin was born April 25, 1903, in Leitensburg, Md., the daughter of Samuel and Lucy Strite Diller. She died Dec. 26, 1983, at Waynesboro, Pa., at the age at 80.
She was married to David L. Martin, who died on Oct. 29. 1980.
She was a member of the Cedar Grove Mennonite Church near Greencastle. She was regular in attendance and active in the WMSC program.
Surviving are eight children, Nelson L. Martin of Greencastle, Vera M. Kuhns of Harrisonburg, Va., Elwood R. of State Line, Pa., Isabelle E. of Maugansville, Md., Louisa P. Baer, Wilma G. Martin, Elva M. Stauffer and Warren E. Martin, all of Greencastle; a sister, Mary Witmer of Greencastle; 29 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 29 at the Cedar Grove Mennonite Church with Dennis Kuhns, Timothy Martin, Nelson Martin and Robert Crider officiating. Burial was in the local cemetery.
