Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Martin, 71, of rural Wakarusa were held Dec. 4 in the Yellow Creek Mennonite Church with Bob Detweiler officiating. Mrs. Martin died of a heart attack while shoveling snow at her home. She was married in 1930 to Homer Martin. He survives along with two sons, three daughters, 13 grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters. — B. Stichter.
