ELLA MARTIN

(Mrs.) Ella Martin, nee Oebernik, was born in Russia on September 10, 1918 and died June 13, of injuries sustained in a car accident near C1earbrook, B.C. She was 46 years old at the time of her passing. In 1936 she was joined in marriage to Emil Martin, to which union the Lord gave three daughters. Before coming to Canada she found salvation in Christ and in 1947 had the joy of following the Lord in baptism at Gronau, Germany. In 1949 the family was able to immigrate to Canada. Since 1958 she had been a member of the Greendale MB Church, Sardis. She is mourned by her husband, Emil, and daughter Dianne at home; and by Natalia (Mrs. Art Goertzen)and Edith (Mrs. John Scollen) and their families. Officiating at the funeral were Rev. J. Bergen and David Froese.
