Lugbill Bros. grew to become one of the largest livestock auctions in the Midwest. Mr. Lugbill was president of the corporation for many years, and was chairman of the board at the time of his death. He was long active in civic and community affairs. His brother Eli died in 1958, and Peter Lugbill died in 1962.

Funeral services for Mr. Lugbill were held June 25 at the Zion Mennonite Church of Archbold.

Prominent Archbold Businessman Dies

Archbold, Ohio. — Sylvanus Lugbill, 76, last survivor of three brothers who founded Lugbill Bros. Inc. here in 1919, died Jun 22 at his home in Archbold.

Lugbill Bros. grew to become one of the largest livestock auctions in the Midwest. Mr. Lugbill was president of the corporation for many years, and was chairman of the board at the time of his death. He was long active in civic and community affairs. His brother Eli died in 1958, and Peter Lugbill died in 1962.

Funeral services for Mr. Lugbill were held June 25 at the Zion Mennonite Church of Archbold.
