Liberal, Kan. &#8212; Funeral services were held at the Turpin (Okla.) Mennonite Church on Friday afternoon for Mark A. Lofland, 16, who died in a car-truck accident May 4.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Ted R. Lofland of liberal, he was active int he youth fellowship of the Turpin church and in Youth for Christ. He was a sophomore at Southwestern Heights High School.

The car driven by young Lofland was involved in a collision with a pickup truck on a country road east of here. Two brothers in the truck were injured, one critically. Lofland was dead on arrival at the hospital.

Kansas Youth Killed In Car-Truck Crash

Liberal, Kan. — Funeral services were held at the Turpin (Okla.) Mennonite Church on Friday afternoon for Mark A. Lofland, 16, who died in a car-truck accident May 4.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Ted R. Lofland of liberal, he was active int he youth fellowship of the Turpin church and in Youth for Christ. He was a sophomore at Southwestern Heights High School.

The car driven by young Lofland was involved in a collision with a pickup truck on a country road east of here. Two brothers in the truck were injured, one critically. Lofland was dead on arrival at the hospital.
