Mr. Loewen was born in Russia in1884. He and his first wife, Katherine Harder, came to Meade, Kan. in 1912 and moved to Gray County in 1917. She died in 1944. In 1947 he was married to Mrs. Susie Warkentine, and they moved to Reedley.

FORMER GRAY COUNTY, KANSAS FARMER DIES AT REEDLEY, CALIF.

Cimarron, Kan. — Funeral services were held at the Mennonite Brethren Church here May28 for Peter B. Loewen, 80, who farmed in this community for many years before moving to Reedley, Calif. in 1947. He died at Reedley May23.

Mr. Loewen was born in Russia in1884. He and his first wife, Katherine Harder, came to Meade, Kan. in 1912 and moved to Gray County in 1917. She died in 1944. In 1947 he was married to Mrs. Susie Warkentine, and they moved to Reedley.
