• Funeral services for Herman C. Loewen, 86, were held June 10 at the Bethel College Church with Rev. Arnold Funk officiating. Mr. Loewen, a retired auctioneer, died June 7 at the Bethel Deaconess Hospital. Survivors include his widow, Elisabeth; one daughter, Mrs. Leroy Seitz of Newton; and one grandson.
