— Funeral services were held at the Zion Mennonite Church, Elbing, last Saturday afternoon for Fred A. Loeffler, 64, who died at his home there Wednesday, Oct. 19. Rev. H. J Dyck officiated. Mr. Loeffler was born in Russia and came to McPherson County, Kan. In 1893 at the age of two. He had lived at Elbing since 1927. He is survived by his second wife, the former Mrs. Justina Franz; a daughter and son; five step-sons; 14 grandchildren, one brother and two sisters.
