Goshen, Ind. — Silas J. Litwiller, well known retired farmer of the Middlebury community, died at his home there Dec. 23 at the age of 82. Funeral services were conducted at the Warren Street Mennonite church. Rev. Harold Thiessen officiating.

RETIRED FARMER DIED AT AGE 82

Goshen, Ind. — Silas J. Litwiller, well known retired farmer of the Middlebury community, died at his home there Dec. 23 at the age of 82. Funeral services were conducted at the Warren Street Mennonite church. Rev. Harold Thiessen officiating.

Born at Fremont, Ill., Mr. Litwiller had lived at Middlebury since 1909. He is survived by his wife, the former Ella Berkey; two daughters, Mrs. Noble Yoder and Mrs. Alden Plank of Goshen; a son Ernest of South Bend; one brother, two sisters and six grandchildren.
