— An accident near Pekin, Illinois, resulted in the death of Eli Litwiller on the morning of September 5. The accident occurred one-half mile north of the Bethel Mennonite church of that place. Funeral services held at the Hopedale Mennonite church on September 8 were in charge of Rev. Simon Litwiller and Rev. Ben springer.
