WIFE OF BISHOP DIES IN OREGON

Harrisburg, Ore. — Funeral services for Mrs. Marcus Lind, 54, whose husband is bishop of the Western Mennonite Church at Salem, Ore., took place recently in the auditorium of Western Mennonite School. Death came on Sept. 22 after a lingering illness of cancer.

Mrs. Lind was the former Leah Kauffman of Pennsylvania. Surviving in addition to her husband are three step children.
