Suzanna Letkeman, 84, of Goessel, died Dec. 29 at Newton Medical Center. She was a retired employee of Pioneer Bag Co. in Wichita. Services were held Jan. 2 at Goessel Mennonite Church, with Allen Lind officiating. Burial was in the Goessel Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Del Alcorn of Emporia; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Hawkey, in 1970; and a daughter, Margaret, in 1933.

GOESSEL—Suzanna Letkemann, 84, died Tuesday (Dec. 29, 1992) at Newton Medical Center. She was a retired employee of Pioneer Bag Co. in Wichita.

She was born Aug. 12, 1908, in Hillsboro to Henry and Susanna Warkentin Letkeman.

In 1928, she married Irvin Hawkey. He died in 1970.

Survivors include a daughter, Del Alcorn of Emporia; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret, in 1933.

Services will be at 2 p. m. Saturday at Goessel Mennonite Church with the Rev. Allen Lind officiating. Burial will be in Goessel Cemetery.

Friends may call from 1 to 9 p. m. at Miller Funeral Home in Goessel.
