Freeman Youth Dies In Car-Truck Crash
KENNETH LEHMAN, [sic LEHMANN] 16, INSTANTLY KILLED ON WAY HOME FROM SCHOOL
Freeman, S. D. — Kenneth Lehman [sic Lehmann], 16-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lehman [sic Lehmann], was instantly killed in a car-truck collision near his home on Nov. 12 as he was coming home from school at Hurley, S. D.
Funeral services were delayed until Monday, Nov. 17, providing time for his brother Dale to return from Germany where he is serving in the armed forces. Rev. J. Herbert Fretz conducted the services in the Salem Mennonite Church.
Kenneth leaves to mourn his passing his parents; four brothers, LaVerne, Eugene, Lester and Dale; two sisters, Marcene, Mrs. Willis Scott, and Vernelle, Mrs. Vernon Larson; the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Lehman, and a host of relatives and friends.
