Berne, Ind. — Mrs. Bernhard Lehman, 72, a lifelong resident of the Berne community, passed away at the Wells county hospital, Bluffton, on Sunday, Aug. 8. She had been a member of the First Mennonite church here for more than 56 years, having been baptized by the late Rev. S. F. Sprunger on April 8, 1898.

Due to the remodeling of the Mennonite church, funeral services were held at the Evangelical and Reformed church, Rev. O. A. Krehbiel officiating.

Mrs. Lehman was the former Lina Habegger. In addition to her husband, she leaves five children and 11 grandchildren.

Life-Long Resident Of Berne Died

Berne, Ind. — Mrs. Bernhard Lehman, 72, a lifelong resident of the Berne community, passed away at the Wells county hospital, Bluffton, on Sunday, Aug. 8. She had been a member of the First Mennonite church here for more than 56 years, having been baptized by the late Rev. S. F. Sprunger on April 8, 1898.

Due to the remodeling of the Mennonite church, funeral services were held at the Evangelical and Reformed church, Rev. O. A. Krehbiel officiating.

Mrs. Lehman was the former Lina Habegger. In addition to her husband, she leaves five children and 11 grandchildren.
