Church Worker Dies in Berne
Berne, Ind. — Miss Frieda Lehman, 71, who was a worker in the primary department of the First Mennonite Church here for 51 years died of cancer on May 8.
She was a former local director of Youth for Christ and assistant cashier of the First Bank of Berne, where she was employed for 47 years until her retirement last year.
Funeral services were held in the First Mennonite Church on May 10, with Rev. Gordon Neuenschwander officiating.
