LEVI P. LEHMAN

Levi P. Lehman was born Mar. 20, 1910 in Kidron, Ohio to William and Mary (Lehman) Lehman and was a lifelong resident of Kidron. He died Aug 9, 1961 at his home at the age of 71.

He married Esther Lehman on June 10, 1934. He was a custodian at Apple Creek State Hospital for 15 years before retiring in 1975. He had earlier been employed at the J.M. Smucker Co. in Orrville.

He was a member of the Kidron Mennonite Church.

Surviving are his widow, two daughters, Anna Belle Lehman of Wooster and La Vera (Mrs. Ronald) Geiser of Kidron; two brothers, Willis Lehman and Silas Lehman of Apple Creek; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Sylvester, John, Edwin and Menno; and sisters, Emma Lehman, Aldine Zuercher, Hulda Nussbaum and Katie Nussbaum.

Services were held Aug. 11 at the Kidron Mennonite Church with Bill Detweiler and Reuben Hofstetter officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery.
