MRS. BERTHA MAY LEHMAN
Bertha May Lehman, daughter of the late Daniel A. and Anna Loganbill Garber, was born in Morgan County, Mo. on Jan. 4, 1886 and entered into her rest at her home near Versailles, Mo. on Feb. 20, 1963 at the age of 77 years. In her youth she united with the Bethel Mennonite Church, Fortuna, Mo., and remained an active member until her death.
She united in marriage with Joseph A. Lehman March 26, 1911. He preceded her in death March 10, 1955. To this union were born eight children, all of them living.
Surviving her are the children, Warren, Herman and Mrs. Paul Hilty (Mildred), all of Versailles, Roland of Middleton, Wis., Dr. Joe Jr., of Fort Collins, Colo., Quinton of Versailles, Daniel of Roseville, Calif, Samuel of Goshen, Ind.; four brothers, Elmer C. and Daniel J. Garber of Versailles, David Garber of Bluffton, Ohio, Milton R. Garber of Albany, Calif.; three sisters, Dr. Ella Bauman of Quakertown, Pa., Mrs. Carl (Lydia) Lehman of El Cerrito, Calif., and Mrs. John (Lovina) Kauffman of Columbia city, Ind.; 19 grandchildren, a number of nephews and nieces, many relatives and friends.
