To this union were born four sons and five daughters: Mary, Arthur, Mrs. Will Moyer, Emma, William, David, all of Deer Creek; Paul, North Platte, Nebr.; Clara, Kansas City; and Mrs. Oakley Pittman, Oklahoma City.
Mr. and Mrs. Latschar made their home five miles south of Moundridge until 1901, when they moved to Deer Creek, Okla., and resided south of town.

Father Latschar passed away in 1934.
Mother Latschar was a life-long member of the Mennonite church.
Four sons, five daughters, and 14 grandchildren survive her.
On June 30 she was laid to rest in the Bayard cemetery near Deer Creek.
Missionary Albert L. Jantzen of China and Rev. John Lichti of Deer Creek officiated.
Peacefully sleeping,
Resting at last in that beautiful city,
Her trials are past;
In silence she suffered,
In patience she bore,
Till God called her home to suffer no more.
May she rest in peace.
