A native of Middlebury, Ind., Mr. Lape operated a dry goods store here for many years. He was active in civic affairs and a former president of the Bluffton Business Men's Assn.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Carlton (Betty) Wilson of Richmond, Ind.; a brother, john, of New Port Richey, Fla., and five grandchildren.

Retired Bluffton Businessman Dies

Bluffton, Ohio. — Funeral services for Edwin S. Lape, 92, retired Bluffton businessman, were held Jan. 21 at the First Mennonite Church. Rev. Stanley Bohn, the pastor, and Rev. Wilmer Shelly officiated.

A native of Middlebury, Ind., Mr. Lape operated a dry goods store here for many years. He was active in civic affairs and a former president of the Bluffton Business Men's Assn.
