A native of Williams County, Ohio, Rev. Lantz had served a number of Mennonite churches in this area, including Crown Hill, Oak Grove at Smithville, Salem at Kidron, and the Canton Mennonite Mission. a memorial service is to be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, may 5, at the Crown Hill Church.

Rev. Lantz was married to Minnie Schmucker, who preceded him in death. Two sons and five daughters and their families survive.

Retired Minister Dies at Ohio Home

Orrville, Ohio. — Funeral services for Rev. Peter R. Lantz, 88, who died April 20 at the Mennonite Home near Rittman, were conducted at the Central Mennonite Church near Archbold, Ohio on April 23. Burial was made in the Pettisville Cemetery.

A native of Williams County, Ohio, Rev. Lantz had served a number of Mennonite churches in this area, including Crown Hill, Oak Grove at Smithville, Salem at Kidron, and the Canton Mennonite Mission. a memorial service is to be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, may 5, at the Crown Hill Church.
