HEIDE ELIZABETH LAIS

Heide Elizabeth Lais, infant daughter of Eugene B. and Alma Lais of Mololla, Oregon, was born Feb. 21, 1962. Her death on April 20, 1962 followed a four and one-half hour operation on an extremely rare congenital heart condition. Immediately following the surgery physicians and the family rejoiced that the operation was a success, but evidently the shock was too much for the tender body. In about one and a half hours the life was gone.

In addition to her parents survivors include one brother, Eugene, Jr.; two sisters, Christina Ruth and Debra Dianne; and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Lais of Mololla, and Mr. and Mrs. Kore Zook of Goshen, Ind. Preceding her in death is an infant sister, Jan Marie.

Funeral services April 20 at the Everhart and Kent Funeral Home, Mololla, were in charge of Rev. Chester Kauffman and Rev. Frank Horst.
