MRS. TINNA KUEPFER

Mrs. Tinna Marie (Peters) Kuepfer, daughter of John and Hannah Peters, was born near Berlin, Germany, January 26, 1862.

At the age of eight years she came to Reed City, Michigan, with her parents. Later they moved to Clinton county, where she was united in holy matrimony with Jacob Kuepfer on October 27, 1883.

Eight children were born to this union. One son, Aaron, preceded her in death in infancy. Her husband also departed this life 16 years ago.

She suffered a paralytic stroke, which caused her death. Her eyesight had gradually failed her. Through an operation one eye was removed, however, she was totally blind for the last six months.

She bcame [sic] converted and united with the Church of God in Christ, Mennonite, at the age of 11 years.

Mrs. Kuepfer departed this life on March 8, 1946, at the age of 84 years, 1 month and 13 days, remaining in the faith until her end.

She leaves to mourn her departure three daughters, Anna Hibner of Ithaca, Emma Holdeman, Amanda Leatherman; four sons, Leo, Leon, and Ezra of Harrison and Harvey of Lansing; 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; also one brother, August Peters, and one and one sister, Lydia Gearig of Ithaca.

Funeral services were conducted in the Amble school house on Monday, March 11. Minister Herman Mininger was in charge, using as his text Rev. 14:13. He was assisted by Min. Harry Harms of Ithaca.

Interment was made in the Cedar cemetery.
