(MRS.) ANNA KROEKER

Anna Kroeker was born the daughter of Franz Friesens of Sergejefka, South Russia, on January 16, 1884. Her parents moved to Waldeek shortly thereafter where she spent her childhood years. In 1901 the family moved to Taranowka where she found peace and assurance of salvation through Christ and later was baptized and accepted in the Mennonite Brethren church at Talma. In 1910 she was married to David Kroeker who, in the same year, entered the ministry. She loyally and faithfully supported him in the home during the time of his ministry.

The family moved to Canada in 1924. Coming to Alberta they first settled in Tofield, later moved to Crowfoot, and since 1952, have resided in Calgary.

The deceased, a member of the Highland Mennonite Brethren Church at Calgary, was called home to her eternal rest on March 16, 1965. She is survived by her husband; two sisters (Lena Friesen, Calgary, and Mrs. Nellie Dick, Brazil); one son; one daughter; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
