LEE KREMER
Lee Kremer, son of Benjamin and Magdalene (Schlegel) Kremer was born Oct. 27, 1891 in Seward County, Neb., and died in a tractor accident June 29, 1967 at the age of 75 years, eight months and two days.
In his youth he accepted Christ as his saviour and united with the Mennonite Church. At the time of his death he was a member of the Bellwood Mennonite Church, Milford, Neb.
Dec. 25, 1913 he was united in marriage to Gertrude Schweitzer. To this union were born three children: Edith Conner of Milford, Gerald Kremer of Mount Pleasant, Iowa and Robert Kremer of Milford. He had 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and family, survivors include Wm. Kremer of Milford, Anna Eicher of Milford, Mary Rediger of Miller, S. D., Earl Kremer of Worland, Wyo., and Clarence Kremer of Salt Lake City, Utah.
He found joy in tilling the soil, and peace in the continuity of planting and reaping. Although these changing times often upset him he found comfort and direction from God as he walked the cornfields and pastures. The soon return of Christ was uppermost in his mind the last few years.
Memorial services were held in the Bellwood Mennonite Church with the pastor John M. Landis in charge. Interment was in the Blue Mound Cemetery.
