Goshen, Ind.—Mrs. Stella Kreider, 83, widow of Rev. A. E. Kreider, died Sunday, July 24, at the Greencroft Nursing Cener where she had been a patient for five weeks after suffering a stroke.

Memorial services were to be conducted Wednesday forenoon at the Eighth Street Mennonite Church, of which she was a member, with Rev. Paul L. Goering in charge.

Mrs. Kreider was the former Stella Shoemaker of Dakota, Ill. Her marriage to Amos E. Kreider took place in 1917 at Freeport. Ill. They lived at Freeport, then at Goshen, Bluffton, Ohio, and North Newton, Kan., returning to Goshen in 1943. Rev. Kreider, who died Feb. 11, 1976, served pastorates at Freeport, First Mennonite of Bluffton, and the Eighth Street church here. He taught Bible at Goshen College, Bluffton College and the Witmarsum Theological Seminary, and at Bethel College (Kansas).

Mrs. Kreider is survived by two sons, Robert S. of North Newton, Kan., and Gerald of Goshen; -- grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Louella Sanders of Eureka, Ill.

Widow of Churchman And Bible Teacher Dies At Goshen

Goshen, Ind.—Mrs. Stella Kreider, 83, widow of Rev. A. E. Kreider, died Sunday, July 24, at the Greencroft Nursing Cener where she had been a patient for five weeks after suffering a stroke.

Memorial services were to be conducted Wednesday forenoon at the Eighth Street Mennonite Church, of which she was a member, with Rev. Paul L. Goering in charge.
