Mrs. Solomon P. Krehbiel, 90, a lifetime resident of the Moundridge community, died Jan. 26 at the Memorial Home for Aged where she had resided since 1966. Mrs. Krehbiel, the former Mary Goering, married Solomon P. Krehbiel in 1907, and he died in 1957. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Joe J. Goering of Moundridge and Mrs. Walter H. Foth of Newton; a sister, Anna A. Goering of North Newton; four grandchildren, for great-grandchildren, six step grandchildren, 13 step great-grandchildren, and three step great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday forenoon at the Eden Mennonite Church, with Rev. Walter Neufeld, the pastor, and Rev. Roland Goering of Hillsboro officiating.

Newton and Vicinity

Mrs. Solomon P. Krehbiel, 90, a lifetime resident of the Moundridge community, died Jan. 26 at the Memorial Home for Aged where she had resided since 1966. Mrs. Krehbiel, the former Mary Goering, married Solomon P. Krehbiel in 1907, and he died in 1957. She leaves two daughters, Mrs. Joe J. Goering of Moundridge and Mrs. Walter H. Foth of Newton; a sister, Anna A. Goering of North Newton; four grandchildren, for great-grandchildren, six step grandchildren, 13 step great-grandchildren, and three step great-great-grandchildren.
